On The Way Back Down In the sun In the sun My beating heart was like a fire drum I was a man On the Run Riding straight into the setting sun On The Way Back Down On The Way Back Down I split the sky straight through the ground On The Way Back Down On The Way Back Down Is where I found myself and turned around In the sun In the sun I gave all I had To the light of one There was no pain Only love So I set myself free and I had some fun Promise me That’s you’ll never give in You and me We will always have that day in our skin Promising That’s I’ll never give in You and me We will always have that day in our skin

Against The Wind Walking along and I see your face It reminds me of where I’ve been And in the morning light I shiver awake again Right now there's no rest for the great and the righteous Somehow Ill stay the course and grow what I have planted The horses are waiting The angels will fly Wont get what you came for Until you’re ready to ride Against the wind Is where I come from The endless road The miles and miles Ill be running against the wind Til the end of my days Against the wind In everything I do To find my way To find the truth Ill be running against the wind Til the end of my days Walking along and I see the days that have passed That have shaped me There’s nothing left but the time I’ve burned And the lines on my skin Right now I stand at the gates of the void And the horizon Somehow we’re given the choice of love Or endless darkness The horses are waiting The angels will fly Wont get what you came for Until you’re ready to die

A Rose For Your Trust When will I accept she’s never coming back To fill this hole in my heart When the grey turns to black The echoes of the past Fill the house like ghosts From the ceiling to the floor I’ll always be unsure If what we had was even real Nowhere left to run from these thoughts that I must burn I need a friend to hand me a match Or a pat on the back Lift your face up to the sun And cry all the tears that you must Bury your love in a wooden box And toss a rose on your trust When will I learn The lonely can't be cured By holding on to the past But the past is all I have Said the broken man As each day is harder then the last Like a moth to a flame I still call out your name And curse myself When there’s nowhere left to run From these feelings I must burn I need a friend to hand me a torch Or come sit on my porch Lift your face up to the sun And cry all the tears that you must Bury your love in a wooden box And toss a rose on your trust

Thunder and Rain Turning up the hillside And I see black clouds coming down So I run to find shelter But there’s no hiding in this town Feel the breeze in the doorway Where your poems were scattered round Another clue to all your suffering Another time you can't be found Thunder and rain Come wash these days away Take all our pain So we can start again There’s no way that time Time can separate Cuz I’m still falling for you Like the thunder and rain Green earth under footsteps Where the water was once snow Am I holding on to nothingness Or have I found the sacred stone In the grey light of the spring rain In the mist of frozen time I’m the too late of the story line I’m the one they did without Thunder and rain Come wash these days away Take all our pain So we can start again There’s no way that time Time can separate Cuz I’m still falling for you Like the thunder and rain

Field Of Vision I’ve been run down by everyone Cut up and thrown away I’ve been sleeping though the days again Just to numb the pain I keep my knife by the bed light whiskey glass When the monsters go insane I say my prayers on the cold nights Lord keep us all safe To the edge of the cliff for better sight Or did you see too much Have the good men fallen by the wayside And the better on hard luck From here I can see the ocean And all in between There’s nothing to be scared of And its only love I let in my Field Of Vision In my…. Field Of Vision Feel the crack or your bones at sunrise Put your hands on that steel Feel the wood give way to the shape of the dream that you build We’ll be out in the field and the forest Teaching ourselves The difference between wrong and right With the gifts that she gives I see the bad men down at the station So I stay away I see some good folks here and there But its rare these days When the sun turns gold in the evening You look to the west You will see it all so clearly Everything will all be in your Field Of Vision In your... about

Four long hard character building and amazing years have passed since my last release. I've been busy drumming for several rock bands and studios but finally found the time to finish and release my second solo album called Field Of Vision. Its a similar style of music as my first record but since I dont really fit in any specific genre I call it "Colorado Deepgrass". I poured my heart and soul into these 5 tunes and spent years polishing them. If you buy the album here you will get super high quality versions of the songs, the highest you can get on any platform, all other streaming services compress your files down to half their original quality when using a sample rate of 88.2kHz. I would be honored if you supported me by buying the record and even more honored for it to be in your collection. Thank You! All songs written by Dax Hunter Jordan
